Daily Resources for DESIGN INSPIRATION

Being a designer who is constantly creating new content, whether it’s a new brand identity design, web design or an advertising campaign; I constantly find myself looking for inspiration. As a creative person, it is always important to stay ahead of the trends and know what’s in and what’s out.

In order to stay relevant, I believe you have to continuously reinvent yourself, your style, your vision. For this first #2020 post I decided to create a list of some of the sources that help me get inspired, and keep up with the newest trends in design.

To begin, my number one choice for #inspiration is Pinterest, I like to see what other people are doing, what techniques are they using, what colors resonate with the project I might be working on at the moment, also collect any visuals that help me bring that project to life.

BEHANCE

Behance helps me connect directly with other artists, get a glance at their work and also give them props. I think it’s a fun way to get inspired and find work from anyone in the area, and/or overseas and see how they share their perspective on what design trend is being used depending on their location.

WEB DESIGN Inspiration

When it comes to web design and development, my number one source is AWWWARDS. It showcases work from artists from all over the world as well as design studios/agencies. I also use different tools to check what platforms they are using to develop their websites. One of them is SimilarTech, this website shows you what platforms and technologies are being used behind any site, such as programming languages, analytics, widgets, social and more.

Hope you found this helpful, do let me know what you do or where do you go for inspiration? I’d love to hear all…
